Your files

An uploaded file is used only to convert it. The source is deleted right after conversion, and the result when the time shown on its card runs out, or earlier if you remove it from the list. A video uploaded for cutting clips is kept as long as the clips, so it can be cut again.

We do not look at files, publish them, share them with third parties or use them to train models. Conversion runs automatically on our servers in several countries.

What is recorded during a conversion

The IP address, file name, chosen formats and settings, size and processing time. The IP address and the cookie are used to count the daily limit and to stop one network from taking all servers.

After 30 days the IP address, the file name and the link it was imported from are erased. Anonymous statistics remain: which formats are converted and how long it takes.

Cookies

The site sets a cookie with a random identifier: it tells the server that the files in the list are yours and counts the limit. Signing in adds a second one with the session. There are no advertising or third-party cookies.

Account

For an account we keep the email, a hash of the password (the password itself is never stored), and the dates of sign-up and last sign-in. The email is used only to sign in: there are no newsletters.

The account is deleted in its settings together with all its files. Its jobs are then no longer linked to you and are anonymised on the usual 30-day schedule.

Who else processes data

Files are stored and delivered through Bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia). Like any CDN, it keeps request logs with IP addresses under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

To have your data deleted early or to learn what is stored about you, write to support@convr.app with the approximate time of the conversion and the IP address it came from.
