Blurred fill, crop or follow faces
Blurred fill keeps the whole picture: it sits in the middle with a blurred copy of itself above and below. Use it for landscapes, screen recordings, anything where the edges matter. Crop cuts out the middle of the frame: the picture is bigger, but whatever was at the sides is gone. Follow faces crops too, but the window glides after the people in the shot; with no faces it stays centred.
How long a video can be
Shorts takes vertical videos up to 3 minutes. Reels can be longer, but Instagram recommends mostly reels under 3 minutes to new viewers. TikTok allows 10 minutes on every account; 60-minute uploads are not open to all accounts. If a video is too long, trim it in the file settings or cut it into clips.
What you get
An MP4 with H.264 and AAC, 1080 pixels on the short side (720 when the source is below 720p, so stretching does not just make the file bigger). The frame rate stays as it was. Quality and file size are set the same way as for any conversion.
